I love my life in Granada Spain with my beautiful wife and our two small children. I am an entrepreneur. Here’s a potted history.
1984 degree Land Economy from Magdalene Cambridge. After that corporate London for 9 years. I got out. Came to Spain (1993) was a skiing instructor, did a degree in psychology with open university (1996), met my fabulous wife (Lola a granadina – we have two bilingual children and it just gets better and better). Started mail order in flamenco clothes (1996), then a travel company specializing in dance holidays (1998) and now I am building another one in ecological housing. I am a Chartered Surveyor and my partner, Luis LLopis, is a Chartered Architect.
We have a big ethical mission in our business which is to conserve the environment by reducing the consumption of fossil fuels in running your home and by offering homes of superior comfort. We have aligned people’s personal interests with that of the environment. We expect to shape the way the construction industry provides shelter to the Spanish population in the post recession economy.
The key values I look for in friends and business associates are integrity and sincerity. I like to have fun while I work and consider building my business my chief leisure activity after playing with the children.
My chief leisure activity is my business.
Then there is my family and creating magical moments for them.
I enjoy recognizing the perfect moments that happen during the course of everyday and just need recognizing for what they are. These are simple things like biting on an apple, smelling the pine trees, or watching the moon.
I am very happy out in nature, at the top of a mountain or swimming out in open water.
